KINDMAGLNK x ThatStylishNerd: Instameet

Instameet: (noun) a group of Instagrammers meeting up to take photos and videos together.

For us, we define instameet differently - and we invite you to come join us for Lincoln's first one yet!

Kind Magazine and ThatStylishNerd will be hosting Lincoln’s first Instameet. An Instameet, or “Instagram meetup,” aims to strengthen the connections within a community. As budding creatives (especially those new to the game *wink*) it can be intimidating to reach out to other creatives. Anyone is FREE to come, and there is NO COST to this event. Whether they are bloggers, models, photographers, videographers; whether you have a DSLR or a smartphone - all are welcome!

We will all meet up outside of Method Cycles & Craft House on Sunday, October 29th at 5:45PM not only to catch the beauty of the golden hour, but to experiment, play, and create some beautiful art (i.e. photographing, modeling, writing) in the downtown Lincoln area! We hope that this opportunity is a way for you to find and hone your creative styles and personal aesthetics artistically.

Then, we’ll head over back to Method for some mingling! With the growing community of the arts here in Lincoln, we want to help with this humbling growth with standing by what we believe in as a collective: we encourage values of cooperation, collaboration, and support! This operation of kindness moves away from a cliché collection of writing and art, into a social movement happening right here in the Silicon Prairie. (sounds familiar?)
